Reporting: Add Is Reversal column to General Ledger Details report

Background

When checks are reversed our system automatically generates the corresponding GL entries. Clients found it difficult to distinguish between standard entries and those created by reversals when reviewing the General Ledger Details Report.

What's New

We have added a new “Is Reversal” column to the General Ledger Details Report. This enhancement makes it easier to identify which entries were generated from check reversals, providing greater transparency and clarity in reporting.

Bank accounts: Default account settings for Payroll and Tax

Background

Previously Payroll and Tax bank account setup existed in separate areas of the site, creating confusion and extra steps for clients. While recent updates consolidated most functionality into the Payroll Bank Accounts settings one important gap remained: the ability to designate a primary account specifically for tax payments.

What's New

Clients can now set a bank account’s primary designation directly within Payroll Bank Accounts with the following options:

  • Default for for Payroll funding only
  • Default for Tax payment funding only
  • Default for both Payroll and Tax funding
  • Not a default

Only one account can be designated as the default for Payroll or Tax. If a new account is set as primary the previous default will automatically switch to Not a default to ensure accuracy and avoid conflicts.
