Setting up Messages

Messages are displayed to employees in the Tasks and notifications section of their Green Employee homepage. It is recommended to use messages when you want to share short items of information with your employees.

To create a message, navigate to Employees > Messages & Bulletins, and select Add Message. You can choose whether to make a message available to all employees, all active employees, or specific employees based on their class or employee ID. After entering the message and notification dates, you can choose whether to notify employees via email before selecting Save.

Setting up Bulletins

Bulletins are displayed to employees in their own section of the GreenEmployee homepage. We recommended using bulletins when you want to share company announcements, monthly newsletters, etc.

To create a bulletin, navigate to Employees > Messages & Bulletins, and select Add Bulletin. You can choose whether to make a bulletin available to all employees, all active employees, or specific employees based on their class, department, division, location, or employee ID. In addition to entering a title and text, you can add an attachment that employees can download. After entering notification dates, you can choose whether to notify employees via email before selecting Save.

Employees will be able to view or flip through multiple bulletins on their homepage with the rotating slideshow of any active bulletins.
