Voids and reversals

Background:

We have recently released some updates to our void options. The headers and descriptions for these items have proven to be confusing.

What’s new?

We have updated the headers and descriptions to be easier to understand. We now display the two options as “Remove check” which will remove the check from reporting and “Reverse check” which creates a negative check that appears in payroll reporting.
 
       

Tax Engine Update

Background:

We have recently updated our tax engine.

What’s new?

The following states have some withholding calculation updates:

AL, MD, OH, PA, WA, and WV.

Paid Sick Leave

Background:

Effective 5/1 Missouri will implement a Paid Sick Leave policy to all employers with more than 15 employees.

What’s new?

Missouri has been added as a jurisdiction for Mandates by State or Municipality.

Custom Codes and W-2 Box 12

Background:

When the custom code type is selected for deductions and benefits the list of available code types for box 12 of the W-2 was limited to a select few.

What’s new?

Box 12 W-2 codes have been updated to include all codes we currently have available.
