Paid Sick Leave: Additional Jurisdictions Added 

Background: Payroll clients that use our Paid Sick Leave options noticed that employees in Puerto Rico did not have an option to accrue Paid Sick Leave due to the location missing. It was also found that there are two cities in Texas, Dallas and Austin, that require Paid Sick Leave Accrual. 

What’s new? 

These jurisdictions have been added to the Paid Sick Leave Location field. 

Payroll: Additional Jurisdictions Added 

Background: Payroll clients that have employees in Puerto Rico that has a primary role of “driver” did not have an option to withhold the Chauffeur Tax from their employees. 

What’s new? 

Puerto Rico Chauffeur tax has been added as a tax to Greenshades Payroll. If you need this feature on for your employees please reach out to Support.

Payroll Wizard: Earning Import Excel Updated 

Background: In the Earnings step of the Payroll Wizard there is an option to Export an Excel for Reimport. The issue being that there is an additional field in the wizard for Override Amount that was not in the Export. 

What’s new? 

Override Amount has been added as a column in the Excel Export file. We have also allowed payrate to be a “unique” value when importing data which allows different hourly rates to be recognized as non-duplicates.
