Background

Employees will now have the option to be paid instantly using their Rapid! Pay Cards through Greenshades Payroll. If your company uses Rapid, reach out to Greenshades Support about getting this feature activated.

What’s new?

Employee cards can now have a Rapid! Paycard payment type available in the Pay Settings screen of Greenshades Online.

If Rapid is enabled, there will be additional options during the Post Payroll screen to submit a Rapid instant payment.

Clicking the "Fund Instant Payment" button will bring up a screen to add employees to instant pay. If you check the box at the top, it will select all employees in the list, or you can choose individual employees to add to the instant pay batch.

Once you have selected all employees, click "Add." The window will close, and the "Disburse Instant Pay Funds" step will update with an employee count and net wages to be paid via instant pay.

Click "Fund Instant Pay." This will send the transaction to Rapid. Once this button has been selected, the ACH file will automatically update and remove the funds paid instantly if the transaction is successful.

If any transactions occur in an error, the "Disburse Instant Pay Funds" section will display a count of errored transactions.

Adjustments on Adjustments

Background

When a check is adjusted through Payroll, we look at the check that was processed and ask what changes you would like to make. If you were to adjust a second time for that same check, we would display the original check as it was and did not look at the adjustment.

What’s new?

When a check is adjusted, we will now look at the most recent version of that check. This means that if you were to adjust a previously adjusted check, we will show you what the check looks like currently.

Any incorrect account numbers can be corrected on the employee card and refreshed by clicking the "Refresh Information" button in the Instant Payment step.

A report titled "Instant Pay Details Report" can be found in the Payroll Reports, which includes all the payments submitted successfully via instant pay.
